THE THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX SOUTH AND WEST OF WICHITA FALLS HAS SLOWED
AND WEAKENED IN THE LAST HOUR.

THE LEADING EDGE OF THIS LARGE PRECIPITATION SHIELD WAS OCCURRING
NEAR BREAKENRIDGE...THROCKMORTON...HASKELL...GUTHRIE AND PAHUCAH.
MOVEMENT WAS NORTH AT 10 TO 15 MPH.

THE HEAVIEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE OBSERVED BY THE WICHITA FALLS RADAR
WEST OF HASKELL TO GUTHRIE AND MATADOR.

THE THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX SOUTH AND WEST OF WICHITA FALLS HAS SLOWED
AND WEAKENED IN THE LAST HOUR.

SOME HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED IN FOARD AND HARDEMAN COUNTY
AND PRODUCING PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN. THE ACTIVITY WAS MOVING TO THE
NORTHEAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.

A RAIN SHIELD CONTINUED TO THE SOUTH AND WEST OF WICHITA FALLS AND

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS AND RAIN SHOWERS CONTINUE TO THE SOUTH AND WEST
OF THE WICHITA FALLS AREA.  THE HEAVIEST THUNDERSTORMS AND RAIN SHOWERS
ARE LOCATED ALONG A LINE FROM QUANAH TO JUST SOUTH OF VERNON TO ARCHER
CITY. THE ACTIVITY HAS BEEN MOVING SLOWLY TO THE NORTH.

A RAIN SHIELD CONTINUED TO THE SOUTH AND WEST OF WICHITA FALLS AS FAR
SOUTH AS ABILENE TO WACO AND CONTINUES TO MOVE SLOWLY TO THE NORTH. IT
COULD PRODUCE AN INCH OF MORE OF RAIN IN SOME AREAS BEFORE THE NIGHT
IS OVER.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ERUPTED OVER SECTIONS OF OKLAHOMA AND ARE
CONTINUING THIS EVENING. HEAVY RAINFALL AND HAIL HAVE BEEN
REPORTED WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS AND THESE CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE INTO THE NIGHTTIME HOURS.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF THE STATE
UNTIL 3 AM SUNDAY MORNING. THE WATCH AREA COVERS A LARGE PART OF THE
STATE.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL BE ISSUED FOR MUCH OF THE WEST AND NORTH
SECTIONS OF THE STATE. THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL WITH RADAR INDICATIONS OF UP TO 5 INCHES IN 3 HOURS OCCURRING
IN GRANT COUNTY AND  NEAR 3 INCHES IN 3 HOURS IN WOODS COUNTY. FLOODING
HAS OCCURRED OVER NORTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTY.

CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY TO CONTINUE INTO
