THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF MINNESOTA
      SOUTHWEST WATONWAN...NORTHERN MARTIN

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE COMMUNITIES OF FAIRMONT...WELCOME...ST
JAMES..AND BUTTERFIELD.

AT 9 44 PM...HEAVY RAIN...MARBLE-SIZE HAIL AND WIND WERE REPORTED AT
SHERBURNE IN WEST CENTRAL MARTIN COUNTY.

AT 9 40 PM...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST WEST OF
SHERBURNE AND SOUTHWEST OF TRIMONT.  THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TO
THE NORTHEAST AT 15 TO 20 MILES AN HOUR.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY
RAIN...AND LIGHTNING.

THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORM IN THIS AREA WAS JUST SOUTHWEST OF LAKEFIELD
AND JACKSON NEAR THE IOWA BORDER.

THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES..LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS
..STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND POSSIBLE HAIL AS IT MOVES NORTHEAST AT 20 MILES
AN HOUR.
