AT 1235 AM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED BY RADAR
NEAR ALBANY OR 20 MILES NORTHWEST OF ST CLOUD IN CENTRAL
MINNESOTA.

THE STORM WAD MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

SOME CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE...ST CLOUD..
SARTELL AND CLEARLAKE.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR
PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON`T DRIVE
INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD. ALSO REMEMBER SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH
LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.

FROM 45 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ALEXANDRIA TO 25 MILES NORTH OF DULUTH.
THUNDERSTORMS MOST LIKELY PRODUCING SEVERE WEATHER WERE LOCATED
IN CENTRAL POPE COUNTY OF WEST CENRTAL MINNESOTA.  OTHER STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DECRESED SOME SINCE 930 PM.  THEY WERE LOCTED
FROM 35 MILES NORTH OF ALEXANDRIA...EAST TO 50 MILES WEST OF DULUTH.

THESE THUNDERSTOMS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING...HEAVY RAIN...STRONG
GUSTY WINDS...THREEQUARTER INCH HAIL AND FREQUENT VLIGHTNING STRIKES.
