AT 708 PM CDT MOBILE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN PEARL
RIVER COUNTY MISSISSIPPI 5 MILES EAST OF POPLARVILLE. IT WAS MOVING TO
THE WEST AT 10 MILES AN HOUR AND MAY PRODUCE VERY STRONG
WINDS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...AND TORRENTIAL RAIN.
 
A SIMILIAR THUNDERSTORM BLEW DOWN TREES IN HATTIESBURG AFTER 6 PM.
 
 
THIS IS A DANG&EROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
