FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN WEST TENNESSEE

HEAVY RAINS CONTINUE IN SHELBY COUNTY AND RIVERS AND STREAMS ARE
RISING IN RESPONSE TO THE DOWNPOURS. FLOODING OF STREETS HAS BEEN
REPORTED IN NORTH AND EAST SHELBY COUNTY AND FURTHER FLOODING IS
LIKELY UNTIL THE RAIN BEGINS TO SUBSIDE. HEAVY RAINS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES
HAVE FALLEN IN THE PAST 24 HOURS AND AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES IS
POSSIBLE.
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR0 VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
