THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 440 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

SOUTHEAST MISSOURI...
SOUTHERN REYNOLDS

AT 350 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS 5 MILES EAST OF EMMIMINENCE
MISSOURI...OR ABOUT 110 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ST LOUIS.  THAT STORM WAS
MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.

PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THE DANGERS OF A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM BY REMAINING
INDOORS...AWAY FROM WINDOWS.  EXTREMELY HEAVY RAIN WILL PRODUCE SOME
FLOODING OF ROADS AND LOW LYING AREAS.  MOTORISTS SHOULD BE EXTREMELY

AT 1133 AM CDT...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN CENTRAL MISSOURI
BETWEEN COLUMBIA AND JEFFERSON CITY...MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT
40 MILES AN HOUR.

PEA SIZE AND MARBLE SIZE HAIL WERE REPORTED WITH THESE STORMS.

LIGHT RAIN WAS IN NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...MOVING
TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

AT 1156 AM CDT VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PEA TO
MARBLE SIZE HAIL...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...AND WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH WERE
LOCATED IN CENTRAL MISSOURI FROM 20 MILES WEST OF JEFFERSON CITY NEAR
CALIFORNIA TO 35 MILES SOUTHEAST OF JEFFERSON CITY NEAR OWENSVILLE.
MARBLE SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED AT LINN IN OSAGE COUNTY AT 1150 AM. THE
STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED JUST WEST OF OWENSVILLE AMD JUST EAST OF
LINN...20 MILES SOUTHEAST OF JEFFERSON CITY. THE STORMS WERE MOVING
EAST AT 40 MPH.

RESIDENTS OF OSAGE AND GASCONADE COUNTY SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
THREATENING WEATHER AND BE PREPARED TO SEEK COVER IN A WINDOWLESS
INTERIOR ROOM OR BASEMENT.
