THE MAYOR OF VINTON LOUISIANA REPORTED SIGHTING A FUNNEL CLOUD JUST
NORTHWEST OF VINTON IN WESTERN CALCASIEU PARISH AT 705 AM CDT THIS
MORNING.  WIND GUSTS OF APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH WERE ALSO REPORTED IN THE
VINTON AREA.
 
RADAR SHOWED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME POSSIBLY SEVERE...OVER MOST OF THE
WESTERN HALF OF CALCASIEU PARISH.
