440 PM CDT THU AUG 24 1989

AT 440 PM CDT SOME VERY STRONG STORMS HAD DEVELOPED OVER SOUTHWEST
NEBRASKA JUST EAST OF IMPERIAL.  THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT
30 MPH AND COULD PRODUCE HAIL STRONG WINDS AND BRIEF HEAVVY AS
THEY MOVE NORTH OVER SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA DURING THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

ALSO SOME VERY STRONG STORMS HAD DEVELOPED OVER EXTREME NORTHWEST
KANSAS AND WILL BE MOVINGI INTO EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA BETWEEN
6 AND 8PM CDT.
