THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE EAST CENTRAL PART OF ILLINOIS
      COLES...EDGAR

AT 238PM CDT...SEVERAL REPORTS OF FUNNEL CLOUDS WERE RECEIVED
ON THE EAST EDGE OF CHARLESTON IN COLES COUNTY...40 MILES WEST OF
TERRE HAUTE INDIANA.

THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.TOWNS IN THE
PATH OF THE STORMS ARE ASHMORE AND KANSAS.

FUNNEL CLOUDS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO ADVANCE WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE
TO A PLACE OF SAFETY.
