SMALL STREAM AND URBAN FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN NORTH DELAWARE
          ...NEW CASTLE
 
DURING THE PAST 3 HOURS...11/2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN AT THE NEW
CASTLE COUNTY AIRPORT...AND A REPORT FROM THE WESTERN SUBURBS OF
NEWARD INDICATED 4.20 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE NOON YESTERDAY...MOST OF
WHICH FELL EARLY TODAY. SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS ARE RISING RAPIDLY
AND MANY WILL BE GOING OUT OF BANKS WITHIN THE HOUR. PERSONS NEAR
FLOOD PRONE AREA SHOULD TAKE PRECAUTIONS NOW.
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
GABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
