AT 1 AM...THE MOST ACTIVE PART OF THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING
INTO WESTERN HARRIS AND FORT-BEND COUNTIES..MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.
INTENSITIES CONTINUE TO WEAKEN. HOWEVER MUCH OF THE GREATER HOUSTON
AREA AND FORT-BEND COUNTIES CAN EXPECT SOME BRIEFLY HEAVY RAINS AND
GUSTY WINDS ALONG WITH FREQUENT LIGHTNING BETWEEN 1 AND 2 AM AS THE
THUNDERSTORMS MOVE THROUGH THE AREA.

ELSEWHERE...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSHOWERS STRETCH FROM THE COAST AT
PALACIOS...PAST THE HUNTSVILLE AREA AND NORTHWARD TOWARDS LONGVIEW.
THIS LARGE AREA OF RAIN AND IMBEDDED THUNDERSHOWERS WILL CONTINUE
TO SPREAD EASTWARD INTO MUCH OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS DURING THE EARLY
MORNING HOURS.  BUT WITH INTENSITIES EXPECTED TO FURTHER DIMINISH
MANY COUNTIES MAY ONLY GET SOME LIGHT RAINS...AND SOME MAY NOT
RECEIVE JANY.
