THUNDERSTORMS WERE NEAR ACWORTH...AND ON THE EAST SIDE OF ATLANTA. BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS CAN BE EXPECTED AS THE BAND OF SHOWERS MOVES EAST AT 20 MPH. _THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE STRONG GUSTY WINDS.

AT 920 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN MACON SHOWED A LINE OF THUNDERSHOWERS ...ABOUT 5 MILES WIDE...FROM EAST OF FORYSTH TO JUST WEST OF MACON AND FT VALLEY...AND MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. THESE THUNDERSHOWERS WILL BE MOVING THROUGH THE MACON WARNER ROBINS AREA DURING THE NEXT HOUR AND WILL PRODUCE BRIEF BUT VERY HEAVY RAIN ...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...AND OCCASIONAL DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. TEMPORARY MINOR FLOODING MAY OCCUR AS THE GROUND IS SATURATED FROM PREVIOS HEAVY RAINS. WATER WILL QUICKY RUN OFF INTO LOW LYING FLOOD PRONE AREAS.
