...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH COVERS TRAVIS AND MANY COUNTIES TO THE
WEST AND NORTH UNTIL 10 PM TONIGHT...

AT 850 PM...RADAR SHOWED WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCAL HEAVY RAINS
FROM NORTHWEST OF LAREDO ACROSS THE HILL COUNTRY NEAR FREDERICKSBURG AND
BURNET AND ON THROUGH THE TEMPLE AREA INTO NORTHEAST TEXAS. THIS LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS IS PRODUCING LOCAL HEAVY RAINS AND GUSTY WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 40 MPH AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. MOVEMENT WAS SOUTHEAST AT NEAR 20 MPH.

PERSONS ALONG THE UPPER HIGHLAND LAKES AND OUT IN THE HILL COUNTRY
SHOULD MOVE TO A SAFE PLACE AS THESE THUNDERSTORM MOVE THROUGH THE AREA.

FROM SOUTHWEST OF SAN ANTONIO ACROSS THE FREDERICKSBURG AND MARBLE FALLS
AREA TO SOUTH OF TEMPLE AND INTO EAST TEXAS NEAR CROCKET. THIS LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS COULD LIKELY PRODUCE LOCAL HEAVY RAINS AND GUSTY WINDS IN

AT 1045 PM...RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCAL HEAVY RAINS
FROM SOUTHWEST OF SAN ANTONIO TO NEAR AUSTIN AND ON EASTWARD TO NEAR
COLLEGE STATION. THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS IS BEGINNING TO BE ON A
MORE EAST TO WEST LINE AND WITH THUNDERSTORMS GENERALLY MOVING EASTWARD
THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF MORE THAN ONE AREA OF HEAVY RAIN MOVING OVER
SOME AREAS.

PERSONS IN THE AUSTIN AND CENTRAL TEXAS AREA SHOULD KEEP A WATCH ON THE
WEATHER AS THESE THUNDERSTORMS MOVE THROUGH. IF YOU HAVE TO DRIVE USE
EXTREME CAUTION AND APPROACH LOW WATER CROSSINGS VERY CAREFUL.
