30 MILES AN HOUR.

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHEYENNE WY 150 PM MDT SUN JUN 25 1989 WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WERE OCCURRING OVER EXTREME SOUTHEAST WYOMING AT 145 PM. THE STRONGEST OF THESE STORMS WAS ABOUT 35 MILES NORTH OF CHEYENNE WITH ANOTHER STRONG CELL NEAR CHUGWATER...OR SOME 45 MILES NORTH OF CHEYENNE. BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS WILL ACCOMPANY THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS AS THEY MOVE NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR. THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER SOUTHEAST WYOMING THE REST OF THIS AFTERNOON. PEOPLE IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF THE STATE SHOULD KEEP AN EYE ON THE SKY AND BE READY TO SEEK SHELTER SHOULD THREATENING WEATHER APPROACH. HATTEN
