A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING INTO FULTON COUNTY. AT 115 PM EDT
SMALL HAIL AND HEAVY RAIN WAS REPORTED WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM AS IT WAS
MOVING NORTHEAST AROUND 30 MPH.

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TOLEDO OH 141 PM EDT SAT JUN 3 1989 STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING INTO LUCAS, HENRY AND PUTNAM COUNTIES. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE PART OF A LINE OF VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM EXTREME SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN SOUTHWEST THROUGH FULTON, HENRY, DEFIANCE, PUTNAM AND PAULDING COUNTIES. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AROUND 30 MPH. ONE EIGHTH INCH DIAMETER HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAINS AND WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH WERE ASSOCIATED WITH THESE STORMS. A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF NORTHWEST OHIO UNTIL 5PM EDT. WATCH OUT FOR FLOODING IN THESE AREAS AND KEEP TUNED FOR FURTHER STATEMENTS OR WARNINGS. ELH F

A FLOOD WATCH WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR THE LAKESHORE COUNTIES OF NORTHERN OHIO FROM 300 PM EDT UNTIL 800 PM EDT. A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING WILL BE IN EFFECT UNTIL 220 THIS AFTERNOON FOR LAKE ERIE FROM MAUMEE BAY TO VERMILION.
