THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF PENNSYLVANIA
      POTTER

STEADY RAIN FALLING ACROSS MCKEAN COUNTY AND WESTERN POTTER COUNTY
HAS PRODUCED SOME FLOODING ALONG THE ALLEGHANY RIVER IN WESTERN
POTTER COUNTY.  THE RAIN IS MOVING SLOWLY TO THE EAST...SO FLOODING
IS LIKELY TO CONTINUE OVER POTTER COUNTY FOR MUCH OF THE EVENING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED IMMEDIATELY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOOD WATERS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
