WESTERN COUNTIES AND WESTERN LAKE ONTARIO COUNTIES...AND THE
WESTERN SOUTHERN TIER...

HEAVY RAINFALL OF 3 TO 3.5 INCHES HAS BEEN REPORTED IN NORTHERN
ERIE COUNTY. MANY ROADS...INTERSECTIONS...POOR DRAINAGE AND LOW LYING
AREAS AND BASEMENTS HAVE BEEN FLOODED ESPECIALLY IN BUFFALO...
TOWNS OF CHEEKTOWAGA...AMHERST AND IN TONAWANDA.

RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO DIMINISH AWHILE DURING THE NEXT FEW HOURS BUT
THUNDERSTORMS IN MICHIGAN AND OHIO MAY EFFECT THE WARNING REGION
OVERNIGHT.

SCAJAQUADA CREEK WAS 9.38 FEET AT 630 PM. FLOOD STAGE IS 10
FEET. THE CREEK IS EXPECTED TO RUN NEAR OR AT BANKFULL DURING THE
NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS.

SMALL CREEKS IN THE WARNING ARE ARE ALSO REPORTED AT OR NEAR BANKFULL.

PERSONS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO VENTURE OR DRIVE INTO FLOODED AREAS.
