THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL
400 PM FRIDAY FOR NORTHERN ERIE AND SOUTHERN NIAGARA COUNTY.

HEAVY RAINFALL IN EXCESS OF 1 INCH HAS BEEN REPORTED OVER NORTHERN ERIE
COUNTY IN THE PAST HOUR. THIS HEAVY RAIN HAS CAUSED SOME URBAN AND POOR
DRAINAGE FLOODING OVER PORTIONS OF NORTHERN ERIE COUNTY. SOME BASEMENT
FLOODING HAS ALSO BEEN REPORTED OVER NORTHERN CHEEKTOWAGA AND AMHERST.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL...ALTHOUGH NOT EXPECTED TO BE AS HEAVY AS THE RAIN
EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...WILL AGGRAVATE THE FLOODING PROBLEMS FOR THE
REMAINDER OF THE AFTERNOON.

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN REPORTED. TAKE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT PROPERTY.  DONT TRY TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED
