SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TUCSON AZ 330 PM MST SUN JUL 24 1988 RADAR IN TUCSON SHOWED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING OVER COCHISE COUNTY IN THE LAST HOUR. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED JUST EAST OF DOUGLAS... NORTHEAST OF FORT HUACHUCA AND NORTHWEST OF WILCOX. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE SOUTHWEST. PERSONS IN EXPOSED AREAS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO SEEK SHELTER AND MOTORISTS IN THESE AREAS ARE URGED TO BE CAUTIOUS OF F4LOODED ROADWAYS. HIGHWAYS AND NORMALLY DRY WASHES MAY FLOOD. NORDQUIST
