...STRONG THUNDERSTORM MOVING THROUGH PUEBLO AREA...

AT 500 PM MDT A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WITH HEAVY RAIN...AND GUSTY WIND
WAS MOVING THROUGH THE PUEBLO AREA OF SOUTHEAST COLORADO...MAINLY ACROSS
THE NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE CITY AND COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS
MOVING TO THE EAST AROUND 10 MPH.

PEOPLE IN THE PUEBLO AREA...AS WELL AS THE NORTHERN SECTIONS OF PUEBLO
COUNTY SHOULD REMAIN ALERT TO THIS THUNDERSTORM. ALONG WITH THE HEAVY
RAINS AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS...SMALL HAIL COULD ACCOMPANY THE STORM.
MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING THROUGH AREAS WHERE WATER
CAN COVER THE ROAD...FLOODING LOW LYING AREAS. OTHERS IN THE PUEBLO AREA
SHOULD REMAIN INDOORS UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES TO BE SAFE FROM LIGHTNING.

...STRONG THUNDERSTORM MOVED INTO CROWLEY COUNTY...

AT 615 PM MDT A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...WHICH PRODUCED HEAVY RAIN AS IT
MOVED THROUGH THE PUEBLO AREA BETWEEN 5 PM AND 6 PM HAD MOVED INTO
WESTERN CROWLEY COUNTY. THE STORM WAS 12 MILES NORTH OF FOWLER...IN
CROWLEY COUNTY AND WAS MOVING EAST 25 MPH.

THE THUNDERSTORM WHICH PASSED THROUGH PUEBLO BETWEEN 5 PM AND 6 PM MDT
THIS EVENING DROPPED 0.38 INCH OF RAIN AT PUEBLO MEMORIAL AIRPORT IN
ABOUT 45 MINUTES. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN CAN STILL BE EXPECTED WITH STORMS
IN CROWLEY COUNTY...ALONG WITH STRONG GUSTY WINDS. LOCAL FLOODING OF
LOW LYING AREAS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE IN HEAVY RAIN AREAS. PEOPLE IN
CROWLEY COUNTY NEAR THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT AND MOVE TO SAFE
SHELTER IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.

AT 755 PM MDT SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE NOTED BY LIMON RADAR
IN CENTRAL CHEYENNE COUNTY NEAR THE TOWN OF FIRST VIEW. THESE
STORMS ARE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AND 20 MPH.

THESE STORMS CAN PRODUCE HAIL..BRIEF STRONG GUSTY WINDS..LIGHTNING
AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL.

RESIDENTS OF FIRST VIEW AND CHEYENNE WELLS SHOULD BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS AS THESE STORMS MOVE ACROSS
THE COUNTY.
