THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHOENIX HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  430 PM MST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA
          ...CENTRAL PINAL
 
AT 325 PM MST A LINE OF VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING THROUGH
CENTRAL PINAL COUNTY. THE LINE EXTENDED FROM FLORENCE JUNCTION TO
AROUND RED ROCK. AT 320 VERY STRONG WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN WAS BEING
REPORTED FROM THE CASA GRANDE NATIONAL MONUMENT. VERY DENSE BLOWING
DUST WAS ALSO OCCURING AND WILL LIKELY SEVERELY REDUCE VISIBILITIES
ALONG I-10 BETWEEN TUCSON AND PHOENIX. MOTORISTS SHOULD USE EXTREME
CAUTION.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
