A LARGE PART OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNTIL 5 PM CDT...

AT 218 PM CDT...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS IN FRANKLIN COUNTY...MISSOURI
ABOUT 30 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF THE CITY OF ST LOUIS.  THIS STORM
WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.  IT WILL PASS SOUTH OF UNION MISSOURI
AND MOVE TO ABOUT DE SOTO MISSOURI BETWEEN 245 AND 330 PM.  THE
STORM WILL PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...INTENSE LIGHTNING...STRONG
WIND GUSTS AND SOME HAIL.  A SECOND STRONG STORM WAS ABOUT 35 MILES
NORTHEAST OF ST LOUIS JUST ABOUT 5 MILES NORTH OF GREENVILLE...ILLINOIS.
THIS STORM WILL MOVE THROUGH BOND COUNTY BETWEEN 245 AND 315 AND
WILL ALSO PRODUCE STRONG WIND...HAIL...HEAVY RAIN AND INTENSE
LIGHTNING.

THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING IN A LINE FROM 50 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
ST LOUIS TO 60 MILES NORTHE]AST OF ST LOUIS.  THESE STORMS WILL PASS
OVER THE ST LOUIS METROPOLITAN AREA BETWEEN 3 AND 430 PM.  THE
RAIN WILL BE SOMEWHAT SPOTTY BUT SOME LOCATIONS COULD RECEIVE
BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WIND AND HAIL.
