THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF ILLINOIS
      SHELBY

AT 705 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A TORNADO JUST SOUTHWEST OF PANA
ILLINOIS...45 MILES SOUTHEAST OF SPRINGFIELD ILLINOIS. THIS
TORNADO WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.

AT 650 PM CDT GOLF BALL TO BASEBALL SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED NEAR
RAYMOND ILLINOIS IN NORTHERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER
IF AVAILABLE...OTHERWISE TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING.

AT 600 PM CDT STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN NORTHEAST MISSOURI
OR JUST WEST OF QUINCY ILLINOIS AND ANOTHER NEAR SPRINFIELD.
SOME OTHERS WERE IN NORTHEAST ILLINOIS NEAR CHICAGO.

MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.
