THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  545 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA
          ...WESTERN COTTONWOOD...MURRAY
 
SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE LAKE WILSON...SLAYTON
AND WESTBROOK.
 
AT 440 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 12 MILES SOUTHEAST
OF PIPRSTONE MINNESOTA OR 35 MILES NORTHEAST OF SIOUX FALLS. THE
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EASTNORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

REINFORCED SHELTER. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH...HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND HEAVY
RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.
