TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
IN EAST CENTRAL IOWA

AT 312...CEDAR RAPIDS EMERGENCY OPERATING CENTER REPORTED A FUNNEL
CLOUD NEAR LISBON AT 305 PM.
THIS FUNNEL CLOUD WILL LIKELY DEVELOP INTO A TORNADO IN SOUTHERN JONES
COUNTY. THESES STORMS MOVING THROUGH EASTERN IOWA ARE PRODUCING
NUMEROUS TORNADOES. ALL PEOPLE IN EASTERN IOWA SHOULD BE AN EXTREME
LOOKOUT FOR THREATENING WEATHER.
THE STORM WILL LIKELY AFFECT OLIN...MORLEY...AND OXFORD MILLS AND
OXFORD JUNCTION...HALE AND WYOMING.
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED

A 20 MILE WIDE LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED OVER EXTREME EASTERN IOWA ABOUT 20 MILES WEST OF THE QUAD-CITIES. THE LINE EXTENDED FROM NEAR DUBUQUE THROUGH MUSCATINE TO AROUND BURLINGTON IN EASTERN IOWA. THE LINE WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL BE MOVING THROUGH THE QUAD-CITY AREA BY 2PM. A SECOND LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS..SOME SEVERE..EXTENDED FROM WATERLOO TO NEAR OTTUMWA. THIS LINE OF STORMS WILL REACH THE QUAD CITIES LATER THIS AFTERNOON. FOBERT
