SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHEYENNE WY 1215 PM MDT MON JUN 13 1988 ...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING UNTIL 700 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING... SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WERE OCCURRING OVER SOUTHEAST WYOMING AT 1210 PM. A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS ALSO FORMING JUST SOUTH OF WYOMING...ALONG THE FRONT RANGE IN NORTHERN COLORADO. ALL OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. THE THUNDERSTORMS IN SOUTHEAST WYOMING WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND INTENSIFY DURING THE AFTERNOON. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH CONTINUES FOR THE COUNTIES OF SIOUX... SCOTTS BLUFF...BANNER AND KIMBALL OF THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE UNTIL 7 PM MDT THIS EVENING. AT 100 PM MDT ISOLATED RAIN SHOWERS WERE IN THE NORTHERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE. A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS DEVELOPING ALONG THE FRONT RANGES OF COLORADO AND WYOMING.
