EFFECTIVE UNTIL 245 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
...NORTHWESTERN LATIMER...EASTERN PITTSBURG
AT 141 PM CDT TULSA RADAR WAS INDICATING A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
ABOUT 8 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HARTSHORNE OKLAHOMA. THIS STORM WAS
MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH,
LARGE HAIL, DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR

AT 1245 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADARS WERE SHOWING A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS INCREASING FROM JUST WEST OF BARTLESVILLE OKLAHOMA SOUTHWARD TO NEAR SAPULPA...DOWN TO NEAR OKMULGEE AND THEN ON SOUTH TO NEAR MCALESTER OKLAHOMA. OTHER SCATTERED STORMS WERE DEVELOPING RAPIDLY OVER PARTS HASKELL COUNTY... LATIMER COUNTY AND LEFLORE COUNTY. ALL THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM THIS AFTERNOON FOR MOST OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA.
