THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES:
IN EAST CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
..NORTHWESTERN MCINTOSH
IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA
..SOUTHEASTERN OKMULGEE
AT 1058 PM CST A SEVERE THUNDESTORM WAS 5 MILES WEST OF HANNA
OKLAHOMA.
THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TO NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.
LARGE HAIL IS LIKELY WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM.
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING, PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. DON'T USE TELEPHONES

HAIL FROM PEA SIZE TO DIME SIZE ALONG WITH HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS AS THEY MOVE NORTHEAST AT 40 TO 45 MPH ACROSS CREEK ,OKMULGEE AND SOUTH TULSA COUNTIES DURING THE N]EXT HOUR.
