NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PENSACOLA FL
1135 AM CST SAT FEB 28 1987

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND 
SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE 
FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

NORTHWEST FLORIDA...ESCAMBIA...SANTA ROSA AND OKALOOSA
...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS FOR THE
COUNTIES JUST MENTIONED

AT 1130 AM CST A SHORT LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE INDICATED
ON RADAR OVER CENTRAL ESCAMBIA AND AND SANTA ROSA COUNTIES AND
MOVING INTO OKALOOSA COUNTY.
THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 55 TO 60 MILES AN HOUR.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60
MILES AN HOUR.
WIND GUSTS OF AROUND 60 MILES AN HOUR WERE RECORDED WITH THESE
STORMS AS THEY MOVED THROUGH ALABAMA.

 THIS IS A STRONG THUNDERSTORM AND COULD CAUSE PROPERTY DAMAGE
 OR BODILY INJURY. PERSONS NEAR THIS STORM SHOULD TAKE COVER AND
 THOSE IN ITS PATH SHOULD BE READY TO MOVE TO SHELTER IMMEDIATELY.
