SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PENSACOLA FL
413 PM CDT FRI JUN 26 1987

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND 
SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE 
FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

NORTHWEST FLORIDA...SOUTHERN OKALOOSA AND SOUTHERN WALTON
...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS FOR THE
COUNTIES JUST MENTIONED

AT 414 AM CST RADAR INDICATED A VERY HEAVY THNDERSTORM ABOUT 20
MILES SOUTH OF PENSACOLA. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT
35 TO 40 MILES AN HOUR AND INTO THE COASTAL WATERS OF OKALOOSA
COUNTY. ON THE PRESENT PATH THE STORM WILL MOVE ASHORE IN THE FT.
WALTON BEACH AREA AND CONTINUE NORTHEASTWARD INTO SOUTHERN WALTON
COUNTY.

 THIS IS A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORM. MARINE INTERESTS AND
 COASTAL RESIDENTS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR THREATENING CONDITIONS
 AND STAY ADVISED AS TO THE PROGESS OF THIS STORM AS IT MOVES TOWARD
 THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE.

 CONDITIONS EXISTS FOR THE FORMATION OF WATERSPOUTS AND TORNADOES.
 BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO SAFE PLACE QUICKLY.
