THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

NORTHWEST FLORIDA...EXTREME SOUTHERN ESCAMBIA

THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DUMPED HEAVY RAIN IN SOUTHERN ESCAMBIA COUNTY
SINCE EARLY MORNING. AMOUNTS HAVE VARIED FROM 2 TO 8 INCHES.
FLOODING IS BEING REPORTED IN THE PENSACOLA AREA ESPECIALLY TO THE
WEST FROM PENSACOLA TO PERDIDO BAY. NUMEROUS STREETS ARE IMPASSABLE
DUE TO OVERFLOWLIN SMALL LAKES AND CREEKS. AND REPORTS OF WATER
BACKING INTO HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.

RESIDENTS SHOULD TAKE PRECAUTIONS IMMEDIATELY TO PROTECT PROPERTY
FROM RISING WATER. THE FLOODING CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO LAST
THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS.
