  ...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS LINGERING OVER PARTS OF NORTHERN UTAH...

SATELLITE...RADAR...AND LIGHTNING INFORMATION STILL INDICATE A FEW
AREAS OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS LATE THIS AFTERNOON.  THE MAIN AREA
AT 430 PM WAS ALONG A LINE FROM ELY NEVADA TO DELTA THEN INTO MOST
OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...UTAH...WASATCH...AND DUCHESNE.  THE
MOVEMENT OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS IS FROM THE WEST SOUTHWEST AT
ABOUT 15-20 MPH.

WITH THE VERY UNSTABLE AIRMASS OVER MUCH OF NORTHERN UTAH...CONDITIONS
REMAIN VERY FAVORABLE FOR HAIL STORMS.  SEVERAL AREAS OF NORTHERN
UTAH HAVE ALREADY REPORTED SIGNIFICANT HAIL TODAY.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE INTO THE EARLY
EVENING BEFORE WEAKENING AND DISSIPATING.  IN ADDITION TO HAIL...
THERE IS STILL A THREAT OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND SOME GUSTY
WINDS.

FURTHER STATEMENTS WILL BE ISSUED AS NEEDED.
