...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FOR NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST
TEXAS FOR THIS AFTERNOON..TONIGHT AND MONDAY..AND SOUTHWEST
ARKANSAS TONIGHT...

WEATHER SERVICE RADAR AT 400 PM SHOWED A BAND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDER-
STORMS EXTENDING FROM EXTREME SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA IN NORTHEAST MCCURTAIN
COUNTY SOUTH INTO CENTRAL AND EAST TEXAS. STRONGEST ACTIVITY WAS
LOCATED IN NORTHEAST MCCURTAIN COUNTY OKLAHOMA AND EAST RED RIVER
COUNTY TEXAS. ANOTHER AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED
IN ANDERSON..HENDERSON AND CHEROKEE COUNTIES TEXAS. THE BAND WAS
MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH WHILE THE INDIVIDUAL CELLS WERE
MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 TO 35 MPH. THE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
IN ANDERSON AND CHEROKEE COUNTIES TEXAS HAVE PRODUCED TORNADOES WITH
INJURIES REPORTED. CITIZENS IN LONGVIEW AND TYLER AREAS SHOULD KEEP
POSTED TO LATEST DEVELOPMENTS..ESPECIALLY PERSONS IN RUSK AND GREGG
COUNTIES.

ANOTHER BAND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED IN NORTHWEST
LOUISIANA EXTENDING FROM JUST NORTHEAST OF RUSTON TO MANY. MOVEMENT
WAS TO THE NORTH AT ABOUT 30 MPH. STRONGEST ACTIVITY WAS LOCATED IN
SOUTHERN NATCHITOCHES AND SABINE PARISHES.

TORNADO DAMAGE REPORTED FROM NEAR JERICO TEXAS...IN CENTER TEXAS...
NEAR JOAQUIN TEXAS...IN KEATCHIE LOUISIANA...LONGSTREET LOUISIANA...
STONEWALL LOUISIANA AND THE SOUTHERN PART OF SHREVEPORT.

NUMEROUSS TREES AND POWER LINES DOWN...MOBILE HOMES DESTROYED...ROOFS
OFF SEVERAL BUILDINGS...HOMES AND BUSINESS DAMAGED OR DESTROYED ALL
ALONG THE TRACK.
