SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO 1020 AM CDT SAT JUL 4 1987 ...SOME WIND DAMAGE STILL BEING REPORTED WITH A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS PASSING THRU SOUTHWEST MISSOURI. AT 1020 THE HEAVIEST STORMS EXTEND FROM FAIR PLAY IN POLK COUNTY TO WALNUT GROVE IN GREENE COUNTY TO EAST OF CASSVILLE IN BARRY COUNTY. THESE STORMS HAVE CAUSED DAMAGE TO A RESIDENCE AND AROUND 10 AM ANTENNAS WERE REPORTED BLOWN DOWN IN CASSVILLE MISSOpURI. MOVEMENT OF THE LINE CONTINUED TO THE EAST 30 MPH. EASTERN JASPER COUNTY IS PRESENTLY OUT OF DANGER. WARNINGS CONTINUE AS ISSUED FOR OTHER COUNTIES IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI. NINE
