THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI...VERNON

AT 645PM CDT A VERY INTENSE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR MULBERRY
KANSAS MOVING TO THE EAST 25 MPH. THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE LARGE
HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS . IT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE COUNTY OF VERNON
DURING THE NEXT HOUR.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.

A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.

THESE STORMS CAN PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.

SPRINGFIELD MISSOURI NEAR BUFFALO TO NEAR AVA OR 25 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
SPRINGFIELD MISSOURI.
THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH AND MAY CONTAIN SMALL
HAIL AND BREIF HEAVY RAIN.
