IDAHO COUNTIES AFFECTED...BANNOCK...POWER

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING UNTIL
10PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE SOUTHEAST IDAHO COUNITES OF BANNOCK
AND POWER.

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING NORTHEAST ACROSS SOUTHERN IDAHO
THIS EVENING.  A STORM SPOTTER AT ROCKLAND REPORT .30 INCHES OF RAIN  .
IN LESS THAN 15 MINUTES...AT ABOUT 715 PM MDT.  RADAR INDICATES THE
STORM EFFECT ROCKLAND VALLEY...ARBON VALLEY WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR.
IT MAY ALSO CAUSE ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS ON RAPID CREEK AND OTHER SMALL
STREAMS IN AND AROUND POCATELLO.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR MOST OF SOUTHEAST IDAHO REAMAINS IN EFFECT
UNTIL MIDNIGHT.

PERSONS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS RISING WATER EITHER ON FOOT ON IN
A VEHICLE.  INSTEAD...SEEK HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.  MOTORISTS IN
AREAS OF HEAVY RAINFALL SHOULD BE ALERT FOR DEBRIS ON THE ROADS AND
POSSIBLY MUD SLIDES.
