THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE
UNTIL 800 PM PDT FOR PERSONS IN SOUTHEAST YAKIMA AND EAST KLICKITAT
COUNTIES.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT/HAS BEEN REPORTED.
TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS AS REQUIRED/IMMEDIATELY.

MODERATE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE BEEN OCCURRING THIS EVENING OVER THE
HORSE HEAVEN HILLS AREA OF SOUTHEAST YAKIMA AND EAST KLICKITAT COUNTIES.
THE STORMS ARE NEARLY STATIONARY.

SHORTLY BEFORE 6 PM PDT THE WASHINGTON STATE PATROL AND YAKIMA COUNTY
SHERIFF REPORTED THAT SATUS CREEK WAS FLOODED AT HIGHWAY 97. FLASH
FLOOD WATERS ARE ON THE ROAD...PRESENTING A DANGER TO TRAFFIC.
