000 TTAA00 KPAH 282239 COR TORPAH ILC077-282245- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY 515 PM CDT 28 JUN 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 545 PM CDT FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS...JACKSON AT 510PM CDT THE AIRPORT OBSERVER AT CARBONDALE ILLINOIS AIRPORT REPORTED A FUNNEL JUST NORTHWEST OF THE CARBONDALE ILLINOIS AIRPORT MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. PERSONS IN JACKSON COUNTY SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY...ESPECIALLY IN AND NEAR THE CITY OF CARBONDALE. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO..YOU SHOULD GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER IF AVAILABLE.
