THE COUNTIES OF LINCOLN..PIPESTONE..ROCK..LAC QUE PARLE AND WESTERN YELLOW MEDICINE HAVE BEEN CLEARED FROM SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 400 AS OF 5AM CDT THIS MONDAY MORNING. HOWEVER THE WATCH CONTINUES FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WATCH AREAS OVER EXTREME WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA UNTIL 7AM THIS MONDAY MORNING. AND ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS NOW BEING ISSUED FOR CENTRAL MINNESOTA. DETAILS ON THAT WATCH ARE HAVE JUST BEEN ISSUED. THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE OVER WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA AND AR E MOVING TOWARD THE EAST NORTHEAST INTO CENTRAL SECTIONS OF THE STATE. CLOUD MN 705 AM CDT MON JUL 20 1987 ...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH UNTIL 11 AM CDT... ...LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVING TOWARD MILLE LACS LAKE... AT 700 AM CDT RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM HILL CITY TO THE WESTERN EDGE OF MILLE LACS LAKE TO WEST OF ST CLOUD. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH AND WILL BE AFFECTING THE MILLE LACS LAKE AREA UNTIL ABOUT 9 AM CDT. THUNDERSTORMS IN THIS LINE HAVE PRODUCED VERY HEAVY RAINS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND WINDS GUSTING TO NEAR 45 MPH. BOATERS...FISHERPERSONS...AND OTHERS ENGAGED IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES IN THE MILLE LACS LAKE AREA SHOULD TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS. YOUNG
