SOUTHERN RUSK AND NORTHERN CHIPPEWA AT 525 PM CDT...MINNEAPOLIS NWS RADAR INDICATES A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF WEYERHAEUSER WISCONSIN IN RUSK COUNTY...AROUND 25 MILES NORTH OF EAU CLARE WISCONSIN. SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS/ST PAUL MN 145 PM CDT SAT JUN 6 1987 ...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IN ISANTI COUNTY UNTIL 415 PM CDT AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING OVER ST CROIX RIVER VALLEY... A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR ISANTI COUNTY UNTIL 415 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON. AT 355 PM RADAR INDICATED A VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTHEAST OF ISANTI IN SOUTHERN ISANTI COUNTY. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AND WILL PASS THROUGH THE TOWNS OF SPRING LAKE AND WEBER. THE THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE INTO CHISAGO COUNTY AROUND 415 PM AND HEAD TOWARD THE TOWN OF NORTH BRANCH. THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO BE CROSSING THE ST CROIR RIVER VALLEY BETWEEN 4m00PM AND 500 PM JUST TO THE NORTH OF TAYLORS FALLS INTO POLK COUNTY. THOSE CAMPING OR BOATING ON THE ST CROIX RIVER NORTH OF TAYLOR FALLS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY. WJH
