000 TTAA00 KMOB 260802 SVRMOB MSC059-260900- BULLETIN..IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL 305 AM CDT SUN JUL 26 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 AM CDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTY IN MISSISSIPPI ...JACKSON...AND THE ALABAMA COASTAL WATERS WEST OF MOBILE BAY AND THE MISSISSIPPI COASTAL WATERS EAST OF BILOXI... AT 300 AM CDT SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED OVER SOUTHERN MOBILE COUNTY MOVING TOWARD THE SOUTHWEST AT 20 MPH. THEY WILL MOVE OVER PASCAGOULA MISSISSIPPI AND INTO THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS DURING THE NEXT HOUR. DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL IS LIKELY ALONG WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.

ATTN SELS STORM REPORT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL 230 AM CDT SUN JUL 26 1987 THE BALDWIN COUNTY EMA REPORTED THAT REPORTS RECEIVED FROM THE BAY MINETTE POLICE DEPARTMENT INDICATED SEVERAL POWER LINES DOWN.. MANY TREE LIMBS BLOWN OFF AND HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS OCCURRED IN THAT CITY BETWEEN 130 AND 140 AM. ALSO, SEVERAL TREES KNOCKED DOWN BY LIGHTNING. A REPORT RECEIVED JUST A MOMENT AGO FROM THE STATE TROOPERS OFFICE IYN MOBILE COUNTY INDICATED VERY STRONG WINDS...QUARTER INCH HAIL AND EXTREMELY INTENSE LIGHTNING.
