000 TTAA00 KMKE 102148 SVRMKE WIC069-119-102230- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MILWAUKEE WI 448 PM CDT SUN MAY 10 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN...LINCOLN AND TAYLOR WIND DAMAGE AND ONE INCH HAIL WAS REPORTED AT MEDFORD IN TAYLOR COUNTY AT 435 PM. THIS IS ABOUT 40 MILES NORTHWEST OF WAUSAU. THE STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST TO EAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL AFFECT THE EAST END OF TAYLOR COUNTY AS WELL AS LINCOLN COUNTY. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES TAKE SHELTER.

A STRONG THUNDERSTORM HAS DEVELOPED RAPIDLY OVER EASTERN CLARK COUNTY AND WILL BE MOVING THROUGH NORTHERN WOOD AND THEN INTO MARATHON COUNTY BY 415 PM. AS OF 330 THE STORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT 5 MILES WEST OF MARSHFIELD OR ABOUT 35 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF WAUSAU. ANOTHER STRONG STORM WAS OVER NORTHEAST WJACKSON COUNTY AND THAT TOO WILL MOVE THROUGH WOOD COUNTY BY 415 PM. THIS STORM MAY PRODUCE STRONG WIND GUSTS AND HAIL AS IT MOVES NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. OSTER
