EFFECTIVE UNTIL  530 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...

IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO
          ...SOUTHERN LEA

AT 420 MDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATES A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
NEAR KERMIT.  THE THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING TO THE NORTH-NORTHEAST AT
18 MPH.  THE PUBLIC HAS REPORTED GOLF BALL TO SOFTBALL SIZE HAIL IN
KERMIT.

WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DO NOT USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
