EFFECTIVE UNTIL  730 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO
          ...NORTHEASTERN EDDY
 
             THE SMALL COMMUNITY OF LOCO HILLS IS IN THE PATH OF THIS
             STORM.
 
AT 640 PM MDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR ABOUT 30
MILES NORTH NORTHEAST OF CARLSBAD NEW MEXICO. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
IS ABOUT 10 MILES WIDE AND IS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
 
SINCE 630 PM MDT...THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS OF A FUNNEL CLOUD IN THE
SOUTHWEST QUADRANT OF THIS STORM.  REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE
