THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN NORTHWEST TEXAS
          ...BORDEN...DAWSON
 
NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN HAVE MOVED THROUGH BORDEN
AND DAWSON COUNTIES DURING THE LAST TWO HOURS. UP TO TWO AND ONE HALF
INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE NORTHERN AREAS OF THESE COUNTIES.
RADAR INDICATES CONTINUED VERY HEAVY RAIN IN THESE COUNTIES FOR THE
NEXT COUPLE OF HOUR.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZxE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
