AT 735 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATES A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM IS LOCATED 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF PECOS...MOVING SLOWLY
TO THE NORTHEAST.
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. DON'T USE TELEPHONES

AT 355 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...1 3/4 INCH HAIL WAS REPORTED IN SOUTHWEST REEVES COUNTY. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATES THAT THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING SLOWLY NORTHEAST...AT 15 MPH. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH... DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION...MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVlERS THE ROAD.
