AT 1145 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS...SOME STRONG... EXTENDING FROM THE NORTH CENTRAL PANHANDLE TO THE SOUTHWEST PORTION OF THE PANHANDLE. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 10 MPH. THE STRONG STORMS OVER THE SOUTHWEST PORTION OF THE PANHANDLE SHOULD MOVE INTO EXTREME NORTHERN BAILEY COUNTY ABOUT MIDNIGHT. THE STRONGER STORMS MAY BE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WIND...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND SMALL HAIL AS THEY MOVE INTO THE BAILEY AND LAMB COUNTIES. AT 110AM SHOWERS AND A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED OVER
EASTERN LAMB COUNTY AND OVER HALE COUNTY. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORM
WAS WEST OF PLAINEVIEW IN HALE COUNTY.
MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 25 MPH.
THE SHERIFFS OFFICE IN PLAINEVIEW REPORTED STRONG GUSTY WINDS AT 100
AM THIS MORNING.
PERSONS IN THE NORTHERN COUNTIES OF THE SOUTH PLAINS CAN EXPECT BRIEF
PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN...STRONG GUSTY WIND...SMALL HAIL AND POSSIBLE
