...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT FOR COTTLE
   LUBBOCK...CROSBY...DICKENS...KING...YOAKUM...TERRY...LYNN...GARZA
   AND KENT COUNTIES....THEN AT 3 AM IT WILL BE REPLACED BY A SEVERE
   THUNDERSTORM WATCH THAT WILL INCLUDE ALL THE COUNTIES ON THE SOUTH
   PLAINS AND WILL CONTINUE IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT...

...A FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES IN EFFECT FOR COTTLE...DICKENS
   GARZA...KENT AND KING COUNTIES...

AT 235 AM CDT LUBBOCK RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER
HOCKLEY AND TERRY COUNTIES OF THE TEXAS SOUTH PLAINS. THE STRONGEST
STORM WAS CENTERED NEAR BROWNFIELD. THE PRECIPITATION WAS MOVING
TOWARD THE NORTHEAST ABOUT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

THE POTENTIAL CONTINUES TO EXIST FOR FLOODING IN EASTERN COUNTIES OF
THE SOUTH PLAINS SHOULD ANY OF THE CURRENT ROUND OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS MAKE IT INTO THAT AREA.

ANOTHER SERIES OF STORMS WAS MOVING NORTHEASTWARD FROM THE
HOBBS NEW MEXICO TO MIDLAND PART OF THE PERMIAN BASIN. THESE
STORMS MAY BE MOVING ACROSS THE SOUTH PLAINS DURING THE NEXT
THREE TO FOUR HOURS.

ANY OF THESE STORMS MAY, PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...HAIL AND
GUSTY WIND WITH FREQUENT LIGHTNING AS THEY MOVE ACROSS THE AREA.

AT 320 AM CDT LUBBOCK RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER
SOUTHERN LUBBOCK AND LYNN COUNTIES OF THE TEXAS SOUTH PLAINS. THE
STRONGEST STORM WAS LOCATED ALONG THE LUBBOCK AND LYNN COUNTY LINE
BETWEEN WOODROW AND TAHOKA. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST ABOUT
25 MILES AN HOUR.

OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED FROM EXTREME SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO
BETWEEN JAL AND HOBBS AND EXTENDED EASTWARD ACROSS THE NORTHERN
COUNTIES OF THE PERMIAN BASIN.  THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST
ABOUT 25 MILES AN HOUR ALSO.

STREAMS IN EASTERN COUNTIES OF THE SOUTH PLAINS CONTINUE BANKFULL
SO THAT ANY OF THESE STORMS THAT MOVE ACROSS THAT PART OFV THE AREA
MAY CAUSE FLOODING THERE.

ANY OF THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...HAIL AND
GUSTY WIND WITH FREQUENT LIGHTNING AS THEY MOVE ACROSS THE AREA.

EASTERN LUBBOCK...EASTERN HALE...WESTERN FLOYD AND CROSBY COUNTIES.
THE STRONGEST STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR RALLS. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING
TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WERE BEGINING TO MOVE INTO YOAKUM AND TERRY
COUNTIES. THESE STORMS WERE ALSO MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT
ABOUT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WIND AND POSSIBLE
SMALL HAIL AS THEY PASS THROUGH THE AREA.
