000 TTAA00 KSTL 210051 SVRSTL MOC205-127-210130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ST LOUIS MO 752 PM CDT THU AUG 20 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 PM CDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST MISSOURI... SHELBY... MARION RADAR INDICATES A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM JUST SOUTH OF KIRKSVILLE TO 20 MILES NORTHWEST OF HANNIBAL. THESE STORMS HAVE PRODUCED GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL AND 70 MPH WINDS. THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. PROTECT YOURSELF FROM DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL AND LIGHTNING BY STAYING IN A BUILDING...AWAY FROM WINDOWS. A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WITH HEAVY RAIN AND LARGE HAIL CONTINUED OVER NORTHEAST MISSOURI 5 MILES NORTH OF KIRKSVILLE MISSOURI. OTHER STRONG STORMS WAS LOCATED 5 MILES EAST OF EDINA MISSOURI.
