EFFECTIVE UNTIL  700 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY
          ...BULLITT...JEFFERSON...OLDHAM
          ...SHELBY...SPENCER
 
RAINFALL SINCE 7 AM EST OVER NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY HAS TOTALED 1 TO
2 INCHES. THE RESULT OF THIS RAIN HAS PUSHED ALL STREAMS IN NORTH
CENTRAL KENTUCKY TO BANKFUL. SOME REPORTS OF URBAN AND STREET
FLOODING IN THE LOUISVILLE AREA HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.
 
AT 330 PM EST...WEATHER RADAR INDICATED MORE SHOWERS MOVING INTO THE
REGION. THE RESULT OF THESE SHOWERS WILL BE FLASH FLOODING OVER
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
